Recipes!

Here are a couple of bread recipes that I got recently. I thought that I would share with y'all. Enjoy!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

*1 Cup sugar

*1 cube, 1/2 Cup of butter

*1 1/2 C mashed bananas (about 4 bananas)

* 2 large eggs

* 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

*2 Cups of flour

*1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder

*1 teaspoon of baking soda

*1/2 teaspoon of salt

*1 Cup of chocolate chips

Cream sugar and butter; beat in the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and stir into first mixture just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips until well incorporated. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9x5x3 in loaf pan.

Cover loosely with a tent of aluminum foil. Bake at 325º for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 30-40 minutes or until wooden picks inserted tests done. Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool banana bread completely before slicing.
